Ching-Hsuan Tsai
Executive Director, Head of Molecular Discovery Structure Therapeutics
Ching-Hsuan Tsai is Executive Director and Head of Molecular Discovery at Structure Therapeutics, where she leads discovery efforts to advance innovative small-molecule therapies targeting GPCRs and other challenging drug targets. With more than 20 years of experience in drug discovery, Ching-Hsuan has extensive expertise in DNA-encoded library (DEL) technologies, molecular evolution, protein engineering, and assay development. Prior to joining Structure Therapeutics, she held scientific leadership roles at Relay Therapeutics and GSK, where she pioneered novel DEL screening approaches and applied these technologies to GPCRs, protein-protein interactions, and live-cell target discovery. Earlier in her career, she was a research fellow in Jack Szostak’s laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, developing evolved polymerase technologies and molecular discovery platforms. Her work bridges innovative discovery technologies with the advancement of next-generation therapeutics.
