Dmitry Veprintsev

Dmitry Veprintsev is Professor of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology at the University of Nottingham and an internationally recognized expert in GPCR structure, dynamics, and signaling. For more than two decades, his research has combined biophysics, structural biology, and pharmacology to uncover the molecular mechanisms that control receptor activation and downstream signaling. His contributions have advanced the understanding of GPCR allostery, G protein coupling, arrestin engagement, and signaling bias, leading to publications in leading journals including Nature and Nature Communications. Dmitry previously established and led a research group at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland and now conducts research within the Centre of Membrane Protein and Receptors (COMPARE). He is also Co-Founder and CEO of Z7 Biotech and Co-Founder of Combinate-Tx.ai, translating advances in GPCR pharmacology and AI-enabled drug discovery into next-generation therapeutics.
