Sivaraj Sivaramakrishnan is Professor and Head of the Department of Genetics, Cell Biology & Development at the University of Minnesota. His research focuses on the dynamic behavior of proteins and signaling networks, combining biophysics, protein engineering, quantitative imaging, and cell biology to understand how cellular signaling is regulated in space and time. His laboratory develops innovative approaches to study protein conformational changes, receptor signaling, and intracellular communication, providing insights into mechanisms that underpin human disease. Prior to joining Minnesota, Sivaraj was a faculty member at the University of Michigan and completed postdoctoral training in Biochemistry at Stanford University.
